From the White tees the opening hole is a par 5, playing from the yellow or red tees its a Par 4,
keep your ball down the left hand side of the fairway for your best chance of par,
leaving you to hit an approach shot in the region of 200 yards.

Priority is to get the ball onto the fairway from the tee, Discretion is the better part of valour on this hole,
A 2 tier green you can afford to take an extra club if the flag is on the upper level of the green.

Elevated tee where you can see the entire hole, Definite birdie opportunity but only from the fairway.
Fairway bunker approx 90 yards from the green.

Potentially dangerous par 4 where the best line is the tall fur tree in the distance which is on the left hand side of the green,
Focus again is hitting the fairway from the drive. Aim centre/left as out of bounds on the right,
a pond sits on the right hand side of the green.

Par 3 where the gentle slope up to the green demands one extra club,
bunkers left and right of the green.

Dog-leg left to a raised green, A horizontal open drainage ditch cuts the fairway approx 100 yards from the green.
A drive to the right normally offers a clear shot to the green but lengthens the hole.
If you get out of position then the advice is to play for a 3rd shot with wedge using the backstop at the back of the green.

Par 3, Bunkers guard the front of the green probably the longest green on the course,
plenty of room for taking an extra club as there is little trouble at the back.

Downhill par 5 where a good tee shot will set you up for a birdie opportunity, Take care on the line from the tee as a shot to the right
( which is the optimum line for attacking the green ) requires extra yardage to carry the open ditch.
If the wind is in your face consider laying up short of the ditch and treat the hole as a 3 shot par 5.
A hidden bunker sits on the left 50 yards from the green ready to gather approach shots.
Keep everything right on this hole as nearer the green everything runs to the left.

A good tee shot will be rewarded with a straight forward shot into the green,
The penalty for being short with your second shot is deep rough to the left and
a deep bunker to the right. Consider taking an extra club as the green slopes from back to front.

A good tee shot is required to ensure you carry the open ditch. The fairway is definitely the ideal place
from which play your second shot where your alignment will be left of the pin as the ground and green
slopes from left to right. Bunkers left and right guard the green.

Shortest of the par 3's where the defence is the subtle slopes on the green.
A hole where many a birdie opportunity can result in a 3 putt.

A par 5 to the only hidden green on the course. A straight drive will invariably run towards the semi-rough on the right.
Your line is between the two trees where a positional shot onto the fairway will leave a shortish iron shot to the green.
You should hit your approach from the dip aiming at the left hand land standard as the ball will kick right on the downslope
to the green.

Par 3 with stroke index 1 on the card at 200 yards. Uphill to the green your line will be the right hand side as the
slope of the hill will bring the ball towards the centre of the fairway/green. A bunker guards the right of the green.

Par 4 with a lateral water hazard all along the left hand side of the fairway, A good drive on the fairway leaves an
approach that will come from slightly the right side of the green. Beware of the horizontal drainage ditch that comes
into play for shorter hitters or if there is a strong wind in your face.

The lateral water hazard is on the left side of the fairway and which runs behind the back of the green.
Once again a good drive onto the fairway is essential, the second shot demands total commitment.

Large bunker front right will catch anything short.
Plenty of room on the green to take an extra club.

Now a par 5 long hitters will be near the green in two. A good drive centre left affords the best sight of the green.
If not going for the green in two then centre left is preferable to give an easier approach in. Beware of the large open
pond on the right hand side of the green which is unsighted from further back up the fairway.

Par 4 from the forward tee, there is an open ditch that runs along the left side of the fairway, also 100 yards horizontal to the green.
The gentle rise to the green tends to foreshorten the pin position so an extra club is advised. The green has many subtle borrows and
a putt from below the pin is preferable.
